The world continues to grow more and more wicked and I worry about my children and the difficult trials they might encounter. This is a reminder to me that my children will need a solid foundation and and my influence will will be vital to their happiness.
I also try to remember that there is much wickedness but there is also so much good. We have a living day prophet to guide and direct our lives. We also have new temples going up all around the world and missionaries teaching others of the wonderful blessings of eternal families.
I am grateful for all of the good in this world. I pray that my children may live to experience all of the "good" life has to offer.
I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and know that our children can be strong and faithful amidst wickedness in the world.
This is one of my favorite scriptures:
Be strong and of a good courage; Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee Whithersoever thou goest.
We have the Lord's promise that he will be with us. I am grateful for the blessings of the gospel, the Lord truly has been by my side while raising my children and I know he has strengthened, blessed and protected them.
